Everybody wants the fastest way.

The fastest way to lose weight.
The fastest way to get stronger.
The fastest way to feel better.
The fastest way to “get back in shape.”

And I get it. When you finally get tired of feeling tired, when your clothes don’t fit how you want, when you walk past the mirror and don’t like what you see, you want change right now.

But here’s the truth that most people don’t want to hear at first:

Consistency will beat intensity every single time.

Not because intensity doesn’t matter. It does. Hard workouts matter. Pushing yourself matters. Getting uncomfortable matters.

But none of that means much if you only do it for two weeks, disappear for a month, come back for three days, quit again, and then restart every Monday for the next year.

At BayWay CrossFit, we see this all the time. People come in wanting to lose weight, build muscle, feel confident, improve their health, or just finally stick with something. And one of the biggest things we try to help people understand is this:

This is something I think more people need to hear.
